Tony Macpela designs laser for performance: beams inside a show or an installation, cued to a body, a piece of music, or a sensor. In Romanian search this is laser design spectacol, or laser show design in Bucharest. It is not tăiere laser, not gravură, and not a CNC shop. Those businesses dominate the bare word "laser" in Romania. This page uses the longer phrase on purpose, so a director and a metal workshop are not competing for the same result.
On the theater side the published laser credits are Mostly Fine, Thanks (laser as spectacle and metaphor, directed by Roxana Popa), Cosmic Latte (laser, lighting, and video together, directed by Ștefan Lupu, with live laser scanning beside pre-rendered picture), and Fire de lumina (video and laser for an artistic-musical performance directed by Milo Simulov). The beam is doing different jobs in each: a metaphor you can look at, a scan across a cosmic image, a thread in a piece about ancestors and light. The portfolio does not collapse them into one "laser package."
Two installations name laser as the display, not as scenery behind a plot. Presence Error isolates a body's outline with Azure Kinect and throws that outline forward on a high-powered laser. Sonification Room crosses beams through light sensors; people redirect them with mirrors and the room answers in sound. One reduces a person to a signal. The other turns the beam into a key on a shared instrument. Both are laser design. Neither is a concert laser look rented by the hour, and neither page claims a plot the sheet does not print.
Say "laser design" in the subject so it is not read as an acting enquiry or as a request for video mapping. The video page and the technical director page cover the credits that do not use a beam. Cosmic Latte sits on more than one of those pages because the sheet itself lists laser, lighting, and video on the same line.
