Sonification Room turns light into sound. In the published description, a hazy room is crossed by beams and lasers, light sensors trigger and bend musical elements, and people use mirrors to redirect the beams. Shared control makes the room a collective instrument. Movement, light, and sound write the piece together. Tony Macpela's credit is the interactive installation: sound art and light art on the same card. It is the clearest "audience as player" work in the archive, and it says so without borrowing the mechanics of Ink Flow or Holotouch.

The laser here is not a concert look and not a cutting tool. It is a key. If the beam misses the sensor, the note does not exist. That is why the page also sits on the laser-design list: the beam is load-bearing. Haze is mentioned because a beam you cannot see cannot be aimed with a mirror. The archive does not print the synthesizer, the sensor model, or the number of players. It does print the social rule: layered interaction and shared control. One person can aim. The composition belongs to whoever is in the room. That is a different ethic from Presence Error, where the system isolates you, and from ASCEND, where you customize an object and take it home.

There is a YouTube document. The stills show the room rather than a stage set. A curator who needs a collective instrument should send this URL, not the homepage, because the homepage also contains a slot machine, a facade, and a lighting plot for giraffes. Those are the same author and not the same offer. Bucharest is where the offer is answered: maccpela@gmail.com.

Sonification ROOM is published as Interactive installation. Sonification Room is an interactive installation that transforms light into sound. In a hazy room, beams of light and lasers intersect a network of light sensors that trigger and manipulate musical elements. Participants use mirrors to redirect the beams, activating sounds and influencing the evolving composition. Through layered interactions and shared control, the space becomes a collective instrument where movement, light, and sound shape a dynamic musical experience.

Seen beside the rest of the archive, Sonification ROOM sits next to Fire de lumina (Video · Laser Design), Cosmic Latte (Laser · Lighting · Video Design), Mostly Fine, Thanks (Laser Design). The point of keeping them on separate URLs is that a search for the piece, and a search for the job, land on a page that names Tony Macpela and the actual credit — Interactive installation — rather than on a single scrolling file the crawler never finished reading.

Hiring the Interactive installation credit on Sonification ROOM means hiring Tony Macpela in Bucharest, an actor who also designs laser, video, and interactive systems — not a CNC cutting shop, and not an anonymous rental house. The tools written on the card are Interactive Installation, Sound Art, Light Art. The published description is the brief he is willing to print. Write to maccpela@gmail.com or call +40 720 906 907 and name the credit you need, so the acting conversation and the design conversation stay distinct.
